Windsor, ON Real Estate
Windsor’s flourishing economy has led to a boom in real estate in the area. As the city continues to expand, more homes are being built in the suburbs and expanding out to smaller towns such as Tecumseh.
Most Windsor and Tecumseh homes for sale are single-family detached homes, although you can also find a number of condos and townhomes for sale as well. There is a good mix of older homes and newer constructions in both the city and surrounding towns.
Single-family homes in the Windsor area range from ranch-style houses to two-storey homes with multiple bedrooms. Many detached homes feature driveways, garages, and lawns. Large living spaces are common, as are laundry rooms, decks, and basements.
Many older homes on the Windsor real estate market have been remodeled, so you may find that they have updated kitchens, open-plan living areas, and contemporary bathrooms. Some homes have added features like heated swimming pools and gas fireplaces.
Condos and townhomes are more common in downtown Windsor than in the surrounding areas. They can be quite spacious and sport modern features like quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and custom cabinets.
